Very Interesting, As An Astrogration Problem
After waiting impatiently for a week, the new episode of the series Skeleton Crew was finally released and let me tell you, it was worth the wait. In the opening scene, the parents of Wim, Neel, KB, and Fern are worried sick about their kids and waiting for any news about them on At Attin. A droid informs them that the kids have crossed the barrier. They were also told that there was no way to contact them. This worries the parents more as crossing the barrier is illegal.
In the next scene, the young protagonists—Wim, Neel, Fern, and KB—escape the brig with the help of the mysterious man who was seen in the last scene of episode 2. The man uses the Force to assist with the escape and introduces himself as Jod Na Nawood.
After escaping from the brig, the kids and Jod blend into the crowd to try and reach their ship. During this whole time, Fern and KB do not believe that he is a Jedi and both of them argue with Wim and Neel, who is just following his friend's lead. They are successful in escaping and reaching their ship, only to find that SM-33 is not on board. Jod tries to convince the crew to leave without him, but they refuse. Feeling annoyed, he goes to find the droid in a small workshop on the port. There, he encounters many droids including a B1 battle droid, used during the invasion of Naboo. Upon getting turned on, the droid asks about the outcome of the war. This scene adds a touch of nostalgia for true Star Wars fans, who were able to quickly recognise the battle droid. It is during this scene that we see a shocking revelation: Jod Na Nawood turns out to be Captain Silvo, the pirate captain seen in the opening scene of the series. Jod is successful in finding SM-33 and he hurries back to the ship as the pirates are chasing after him. The children and Jod are successful in escaping from Port Borgo.
The episode introduces Kh'ymm (voiced by Alia Shawkat), a unique creature who helps the crew find the coordinates of At Attin. When Jod, along with the children, arrive at her moon, she calls him Crimson Jack, who first appeared in the 1977 "Star Wars" Issue 7 comic, where he was depicted as a rival to Han Solo. Later, as the kids and Jod are leaving her place, Kh’ymm warns KB and asks her to trust her mind not her gut. Her introduction helps us understand that many more species are still left to be explored in the galaxy far, far away.
The third episode of the series furthered the plot and gave us many twists and turns, which kept the fans hooked till the very end.
